New local problems on FixMyStreet

The latest local problems reported by users

The two sets of retractable bollards that are supposed to stop vehicles from entering the pedestrianised zone at Station Road, Colwyn Bay regularly fail to operate. Whenever this happens increasing numbers of motorists are taking advantage and driving down and parking in the pedestrianised zone (and sometimes driving up despite the one way markings!). I've personally narrowly avoided being hit by a moving vehicle on three occasions recently. All of these near misses have been between 1:00pm and 1:30pm (I can be certain of the timings as I take the same lunch break every day) which is well within the 11am-4pm time period during which the signs at the top of the road clearly specify that no vehicles of any type should enter the pedestrianised zone. On numerous other occasions I've witnessed vehicles weaving in and out of pedestrians between 1:00pm and 1:30pm. I fear that a serious accident will occur sometime soon unless the bollards are repaired and also proper enforcement action is taken to prevent vehicles from entering the pedestrianised zone between 11am and 4pm.

There are a number of vehicles parked on grass verges along owain glyndwr in kinmel bay Ll18 . They are ruining the grass verges and using the verges as there own personal car parking space In the evening there are numerous vehicles parked along them Especialy an open reach van which is always parked on the verge in the evening as you first enter owain glyndwr . These vehicles are ruining the verges and bringing the tone and look of the area down and if something isn't done the verges will be ruined beyond repair. ( you will probably catch the vehicles best in the evening but some blatantly do it during the day all along owain glyndwr )

Dog fouling is always happening along the alleyway between Ascot Drive and Ronolds Way in Rhyl. It is used daily by school children who go to the local schools. Trying to get a pram through is very difficult without getting it all over the wheels!

Many vehicles park illegally outside Stermat hardware store in this location. This in effect reduces the road to a single lane as it is narrow here, resulting increased congestion, and great difficulty for buses to pass. This is a daily issue and causes great problems as vehicles reverse into/ egress out of illegal spaces.

I think it's a shame that narrow minded people can't be bothered to wait till they get home to get rid of there rubbish and just decide to throw it out there car window, it starts from Llandudno junction (black cat roundabout all the way to Llandudno, it doesn't look very nice and also considering Llandudno is trying to pride itself on being a litter free town

Large pot hole on A543 Vale Street, Denbigh outside The Kings public house. The pot hole is on the incline of Vale Street towards the High Street and is right where the offside wheel would go. It's a very large pot hole and will undoubtedly cause significant damage to vehicles.

Two cars seem to be using the grass area on Tyn Y Celyn as a place to park their vehicle. The grass is completely destroyed with tyre marks. They are also using the grass area to go from one side to the other to get onto top llan road. Please can a sign be put up or a ticket given out as they have been doing it for months and it is now damaging the look of the estate.
